We have only eaten here once, and it was take out. The place wasn't crowded when I went into get my food, but it was also about 6 so I guess just before dinner rush. The inside looked clean and neat and there is a great fish tank. The food was very good, not the best but better than a lot. We didn't get anything special, Sweet n' Sour Chicken, Beef and Noodles and Chicken Fried Rice. The portions for take out are the same as just about everywhere else. The food was very hot when I got there, about 20 minutes after I ordered it. I think the prices are a little high. We spent a little over $30 and I know we get more for that price in other places. I'm sure we would order again if we don't find somewhere that is better.

Best Chinese food I've had in years! Nice atmosphere (the kids loved the giant fish tank). Great service. Real linens on the tables. Hot towels at the end of the meal and a small ice cream to cleanse the pallet. The calamari was fantastic! I also recommend the sesame shrimp and the shrimp with cashew!

I'd heard good things about this place, including from people whosetaste I generally trust, and I decided to go there ... a serious mistake,as the food was the same underspiced oversugared guck you get atjust about any trip-mall Chinese restaurant anyplace.

With the convenience of delivery, it seems like I hardly ever go out for chinese food. This restaurant is a nice, clean establishment with friendly service and hot food. The food came out quickly and was delicious. None of that mass produced oily taste that can sometimes happen. The finishing touch of hot cloths to clean up with and a touch of sherbet to cleanse your palette.

Hunan L'Rose is hands down the best Chinese restaurant in the area! Both the food and service have always been excellent, take out or dine in. Its strip mall location belies the elegant atmosphere once inside. Hot towels and a small dish of palate-cleansing sorbet following each meal provide a nice touch.
